Potato Planter

The Ndume Potato Planter is a very simple machine to set up and plant with. It has a single seedbox with two loading trays underneath. Two operators sit on the seats provided and load the metering units as they go round. The potatoes are then dropped into the seeding tine and the seed is put into the ground behind the opener. Seed is then covered with three Ridgers at the back of the machine. When you require to re-ridge the rows the seeding tine can be
removed and the machine can be used as a straight Ridger. If needed, seed spacing can be changed by changing a sprocket at the metering unit shaft.
